Coviu's cheapest plan works out to $44 a month including GST if you pay a year up front, or $52.80 a month if you pay monthly, so a doctor on MedCall saves at least $348 a year. Practice managers are free on MedCall; on Coviu, free admin users start with the Clinic plan.
Coviu is a broader suite. It does calls with up to 6 people, takes card payments in the waiting area, has consent forms, e-signing and a whiteboard, records consults, and offers an AI scribe. MedCall is deliberately just the video consult, and leaves booking, billing and notes to the practice software you already use.
Yes. MedCall's application, database and files run in the AWS Sydney region, and consult data stays in Australia. Every clinician account needs an Ahpra registration number.
There's nothing to migrate, because MedCall is just the call. Sign up, then text or email patients a link when it's time for their appointment. If your booking system sends reminders, you can paste your permanent MedCall room link into them instead.
