How this compares with other telehealth platforms

Only doctors are billed

A seat is anyone who sees patients. Practice managers who don't run consults are free.

The bill follows your team

Add a doctor and it goes up when they accept the invite. Remove one and it drops. Changes are pro-rated.

Tax invoices

Every invoice shows GST, and your ABN once you've added it. Download them from the Billing tab.

Cancel any time

Cancel from the Billing tab. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Trial first, no card

The 1-month trial starts when you confirm your email. Subscribe whenever you're ready.

Card payments by Stripe

Stripe handles payments. MedCall never sees or stores your card number.

Pricing questions

How does MedCall's price compare?＋

MedCall is $15 per doctor per month including GST, with screen sharing and group calls included. Coviu starts at $44 a month including GST if you pay a year up front, or $52.80 monthly. GP Consults is $20, or $25 for the plan with screen sharing and multi-person calls, dropping to $15 and $20 for practices with 5 or more clinicians. doxy.me's Premium plan is US$29 a month, billed annually. Those were the published prices on 14 October 2026.

Are there per-consult or SMS fees?＋

No. Consults, SMS invites and email invites are all included in the per-doctor monthly price.

Do I need a card to start the trial?＋

No. Sign up, confirm your email and the 1-month trial starts. Everything works during the trial, including the team features.

What happens when the trial ends?＋

If you haven't subscribed, starting new consults is paused. You can still log in and see your history, and any link you'd already sent still works. Subscribe from the Billing tab to pick up where you left off.

Do people I add to a group call cost extra?＋

No. Carers, interpreters and other people you add to a call don't need an account and don't take a seat.

Is GST included?＋

Yes. $15 a month includes GST, and your tax invoices show it.
