The control bar
- Microphone and camera — turn yours on or off. Both turn red when off.
- Share screen — show a test result or document from your computer. Available in desktop browsers; press it again (or Stop sharing in your browser) to go back to your camera.
- Devices — change speakers, microphone or camera mid-call, and play a test tone. Use this first if you can’t hear the patient.
- End consult — finishes the call for both of you.
Chat, photos and PDFs
Open the chat to send messages. Use the paperclip to send a photo or PDF up to 4 MB — handy for a patient to show you a rash, or for you to send a document. Messages and files are saved to the consult.
Your self view
Hide the small preview of yourself with the eye icon, and bring it back with Show me.
Connection quality
A small coloured dot shows how the connection is holding up. If the call drops, MedCall tries to reconnect on its own. If the patient opens their link on a second device, the call moves to the newest one.
